Group Diastasis Rehab

Group sessions will have a maximum of ten attendees. The Tupler Technique guidebook is included. Splints will be available for purchase if needed.

Whether you begin privately or in a group, you’ll leave with the tools you need to begin healing your diastasis at home. Your follow-up appointment will be scheduled for 3 weeks later.
Because there is no one program that works for every body, we also offer adjunct therapies as needed. Including use of our pulse-electromagnetic therapy mat, manual therapy through massage and pelvic floor physical therapy. Even if you don’t have a diastasis recti, you may experience similar symptoms due to a weak core (meaning the triad of your body’s support system: the abdominals, back and pelvic floor). Factors that can contribute to a weak or imbalanced core include some popular (though ill-advised) abdominal exercises, chronic postural & movement dysfunction in our daily activities and lack of use
A comprehensive core workout created for your individual body can help reduce existing pain and discomfort, prevent injury, improve abdominal tone and keep you enjoying your favorite activities for a long time to come.
These 45-minute sessions will teach you exercises that you can do at home to strengthen your core and tone your abdominals. Strength, movement and postural assessments are used to create a series of exercises and movement modifications that will result in quick and measurable change.
Pregnancy is one of the most important times to strengthen your core! By focusing on your core and pelvic floor now you can enjoy a more comfortable pregnancy while learning tools for labor, delivery and postpartum healing. These 45-minute sessions will include exercises you can do at home to help you learn how to both strengthen and relax the abdominals and pelvic floor.
