Motherhood fills the spirit but challenges the body! Fortunately, you can heal your diastasis postpartum without surgery. Our evidence-based program uses exercise, movement modification, manual therapy and education to restore your body’s abdominal wall and pelvic-core strength.
It’s best to begin soon after giving birth to restore your core function and strength for all the physical demands of motherhood. The beginning exercises are gentle and can be started almost immediately. However, it is never too late to begin. You can be successful no matter how many months or years have passed.
A diastasis recti is a whole body issue. The methods and tools we use consider what other conditions may be present (especially in the back and pelvic floor) and how the body moves in all its activities. We are the only practitioners in Colorado trained in the Tupler Technique®, giving us a researched and proven protocol to add to our toolbox.
